Job Description

Location: Greater London Area
Contract: Fulltime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS SEN Allowance
Start Date: September 2025 or earlier

Requirements

What You ll Be Doing:

  • Teach children and young people aged 2 19 with a range of complex needs including PMLD sensory impairments physical disabilities autism and behaviours of concern

  • Deliver a highly individualised multisensory curriculum in a small supportive class setting

  • Use specialist strategies such as TEACCH PECS Attention Autism Intensive Interaction and sensory integration techniques

  • Work collaboratively with therapists families and multiagency professionals to deliver impactful pupilcentred support

  • Build nurturing relationships that empower learners and promote both personal and academic growth

  • Adapt teaching and assessment to support a wide range of learning profiles


Who We re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) applications from ECTs welcome!

  • Solid understanding of child development and experience supporting learners with complex needs

  • Confident working with MultiSensory Impairments (MSI) autism medical needs and behaviours of concern

  • Creative flexible and enthusiastic able to think outside the box to engage every learner

  • Team player who values collaborative multidisciplinary work

  • Resilient adaptable and energised by the challenges and rewards of SEN teaching
