The Product Marketing Lead will be responsible for leading marketing across the board primarily as an individual contributor. Although product marketing is the main focus you will also lead the of growth marketing initiatives.
Product Marketing: Your main responsibility will be crafting powerful narratives sharpening our positioning and arming our sales team with compelling messaging. This role blends strategic positioning deep customer insights and highimpact storytelling. Youll own messaging product launches sales enablement materials and thought leadership initiatives as well.
Growth Marketing: Your other marketing responsibilities are driving pipeline growth through paid acquisition conversion optimization and marketing automation. You should have a strong grasp of performance marketing analytics and lead nurturing with an experimental mindset to test and optimize campaigns.
Product Marketing Responsibilities:
- Own product marketing strategy including competitive analysis positioning and differentiation.
- Develop clear compelling messaging that communicates our value proposition.
- Create sales enablement materials (decks onepagers battle cards case studies).
- Collaborate with the internal team to support the development of brand and portfolio positioning and ensure ongoing brand awareness and consistency in all creative materials.
- Lead product launches collaborating across teams to drive adoption.
- Conduct customer research and develop ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
- Refine website messaging and product pages for clarity and conversion.
Growth Marketing Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage paid acquisition campaigns (Google Ads LinkedIn retargeting).
- Improve SEO performance and content distribution for lead generation.
- Continuously A/B test and experiment with new demandgeneration tactics tailored to specific market verticals.
- Manage the content development design and production of all marketing materials including collateral web content digital marketing assets advertising materials customer presentations and video content.
- Maintain online business profiles and social media presence.
- Engage and assist in the management of thirdparty talent such as agencies graphic designers editors filmmakers and video editors.
Qualifications :
- 47 years of SaaS B2B product marketing experience with some growth marketing/digital marketing experience.
- Passion for storytelling differentiation and turning complex ideas into clear engaging messages.
- Proven ability to differentiate products in competitive markets.
- Experience creating sales enablement materials and working closely with sales teams.
- Strong understanding of buyer personas brand strategy and brand standards.
- Expertise in paid acquisition (Google Ads LinkedIn paid social).
- Handson experience with marketing automation (HubSpot Marketo or similar).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate customer insights into compelling narratives.
- Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop InDesign Premiere After Effects Camtasia and/or Explaindio.
- Ability to manage outsourced agency partners and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to promote and sell ideas.
- Strong writing and communication skills; ability to simplify complex topics.
- Digital Marketer Certifications are a plus.
- BS/BA degree in Marketing or Communications.
