Are you passionate about driving research excellence and fostering clinical improvement in healthcare At Hato Hone St John we are seeking a visionary and experiencedClinical Evaluation Research and Insights Managerto lead our research evaluation and insights agenda and support the delivery of highquality patient care.
In this pivotal role you will champion Hato Hone St John research and evaluation strategy aligning with our Clinical Strategy to deliver actionable insights that improve clinical practice and service delivery. Youll have the opportunity to:
Lead research initiatives in collaboration with tertiary education providers and the health sector.
Promote a culture of research and learning engaging ambulance personnel in meaningful research activities.
Utilise clinical and health system data to identify opportunities for improvement and guide strategic initiatives.
Secure sustainable research funding to support innovative projects.
Ensure cultural safety and equity in all research activities aligned with Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Qualifications :

To excel in this role youll bring:
A doctoral qualification (e.g. PhD or DHSc) and postdoctoral research experience.
Experience managing direct reports preferably in a research and evaluation setting.
A proven track record of publishing peerreviewed research and securing funding.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex research findings into actionable insights.
Strong connections within the research community particularly in the field of paramedicine.
A commitment to equity and improving outcomes for priority populations.
