Job Description
This position facilitates the movement of goods utilizing a sitdown forklift and RF scanner from the staging area to outbound trailers.
- Daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment using RF and paper
- Performs Outbound function adhering to standard operating procedures
- Inspect each pallet and product for damage before loading to ensure customer satisfaction
- Utilizes RF Scanner to move goods from Staging to Outbound Mode of Transportation
- Able to stand bend stretch squat up to 9 hours per day
- Lift up to 65 pounds
- Read and understand training and shipment paperwork
- Performs general housekeeping in the warehouse
- Be willing to be out in the elements to perform duties
- Performs other department duties as assigned
- Efficient at operating a propane sitdown forklift
Qualifications :
- Ability to accurately wrap stage and load shipments within the required time
- Ability to meet efficiency requirements by function
- Working knowledge of RF Scanners / WMS
- Able to work in outdoor conditions
- Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
