Job Description

Possesses understanding of client needs and hiring conditions external and internal. Provides advice expertise and assistance to all levels of personnel both internal and external on various recruiting/talent acquisition related issues. Serves as trusted member of Global TA organization driving great partnerships with internal & external customers. Provides sourcing and candidate generation to hiring managers across multiple teams organizations and locations. To be great in this role the candidate must be able to successfully manage prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks metrics and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. Key job responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing assessment and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
Be able to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation rather than sell a role.
Possess ability to screen interview candidates within the framework of the position specifications and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; conducts indepth interviews of potential candidates demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offertointerview ratios.
Communicate effectively with the hiring manager and interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process. Share and exchange information with all levels of management.
Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the longrange growth of the company implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazons mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
Provide a great candidate experience and act as a candidate advocate.
Articulate in writing a plan with deliverable timelines and a formal tracking process.
Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of the best talent for the available roles

Key job responsibilities
Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of Java Full Stack development ecosystem/ Familiarity with Software Development Engineer (SDE) skill sets
Knowledge of Data Analytics technologies and roles. Understanding of Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) requirements and Experience with Data Engineering tools and platforms

Sourcing Expertise:
Proven track record sourcing technical talent
Experience screening Java developers and data professionals
Understanding of technical interview processes
Ability to assess technical competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of competitive tech talent markets
Additional Advantages:

Previous success hiring for similar technical roles
Understanding of current market compensation for these positions
Experience with technical sourcing tools and platforms
Network within the software development community
Knowledge of data analytics talent landscape

About the team
Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) is an offshore sourcing delivery partner for WW Amazon Stores. We work to build longterm recruiting strategies to scout bar raising talent across North America EMEA MENA APJC India and LATAM.

1 years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
Bachelors degree or 2 years of fulltime Amazon experience
Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing tracking and managing candidates

Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring
Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events technology mixers and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups
