You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailKnowledge Services is seeking a Client Technologies Specialist to support a computer refresh project for through the end of January 2026 (potential for extension) with the State of Maine Office of Technology in Augusta ME.
Client Technologies Specialist Responsibilities:
The Specialist is knowledgeable on the usage and support of Windows Operating systems and products that run on those platforms.
Performs a full range of computer administration functions with minimal direction and/or technical support.
Uninstall repair or update software and operating systems.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and remediation via remote support.
Vendor technical liaison functions may be required.
Provide desktop computer support.
Install application updates.
Troubleshoot and remediate Operating System update failures.
Remove unsupported or vulnerable software from end users computers.
Ensure that all work is documented for future reference.
Follow quality standards.
Understand the installation of software patches and upgrades.
Understand the use of remote technology and commands.
Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
Attend and participate in team meetings.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
Client Technologies Specialist Required Skills:
Must have at least 3 years of experience of advanced Desktop Support
Strong customer service skills.
Hardware/Software troubleshooting
