Volunteer Coordinator

Palatine Park District is looking for a talented Human Resources professional with exceptional people skills and attention to detail to join our fun and enthusiastic team.

What Youll Do:
- Recruit and source volunteers for district programs events and various volunteer needs.
- Work with and maintain relationships with schools community partners and general public for volunteer opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure a comprehensive outreach program
- Seek and submit grant opportunities for volunteer projects
- Maintain volunteer paperwork website and required compliance tasks
- Develop and implement volunteer recognition program
- Track and report volunteer hours and statistics
- Train volunteers on required safety and program relations policies
- Manage volunteers during events
What Were Looking For:
- Enthusiastic and positive volunteer professional who enjoys working as a team.
- Previous experience managing volunteers and a volunteer program
- Positive person focused philosophy
- Strong organizational analytical program solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Palatine community is a plus
