Job summary: Sommelier

AsSommelieryou will support the team with all aspects of the wine service in the restaurant and private dining room. You will be responsible for recommending wines to guests and replenishing the wines within the wine cellar as well as refilling the ice buckets and ensuring wine glasses are ready for service.

Youll make sure their drinks are served quickly efficiently and with a smile and if there are any issues youll deal with them right away. Thanks to you our guests will feel wellfed happy and wanting to come back for more.

What youll do as our newly appointed Sommelier:

• Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
• Assist guests in choosing wines that complement their meals and preferences.
• Provide insights into wine regions varietals and vintages.
• Oversee wine service and storage ensuring proper handling and presentation.
• Stay informed about industry trends new releases and emerging vineyards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a highend restaurant or luxury establishment.
• Knowledge of wines regions and wine production.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a memorable and personalized wine experience for guests.
• Take responsibility for ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and bar area
