Job Description
Responsibilities
- Act as the right hand of the Finance Manager supporting operational finance tasks.
- Oversee daily financial operations including invoicing (AP/AR) cash flow management and tax compliance (FA KIVA HIPA).
- Independently handle cashflow forecasting and modeling ensuring realtime updates based on financial movements.
- Manage relationships with external accountants payroll providers financial institutions and grant consultants.
- Take ownership of financial consolidation reconciliation and reporting accuracy.
- Support the administration of EU and government grants and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
- Oversee financial system transitions (e.g. BinX implementation) and process improvements.
- Provide mentorship to the finance administration team and act as the goto person for internal financial administration matters.
Qualifications :
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Certified Accountant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in Hungarian and strong English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to lead and mentor.
- Experience in cashflow management forecasting and financial modeling.
- Effective communication with internal teams and external financial partners.
- Proactive problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Adaptability to a dynamic fastchanging environment.
Nice to have
- Background in financial consolidation and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with implementing financial systems (e.g. BinX) and driving process improvements.
- Exposure to financial processes in international entities (UK Austria).
