A wellregarded Independent coeducational school in Hillingdon requires an enthusiastic and wellinformed Geography Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the diversity of our planet. This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography Teacher who is passionate about their subject. The successful Geography Teacher will join a supportive Humanities department. We are looking for a Geography Teacher with a strong knowledge of both physical and human Geography. This Geography Teacher role offers a chance to make Geography relevant and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons covering both physical and human geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography examinations ensuring a strong understanding of key geographical concepts.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking about global issues and sustainability within Geography.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Geography providing clear and constructive feedback to support their learning in Geography.
- Contribute to the development of geography resources and potentially fieldwork opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of geographical concepts processes and contemporary issues.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of making geography relevant and engaging for students.
- A passion for inspiring students with the diversity of our planet in Geography.
