Job Description

The Customs Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing import/export operations. This position is responsible for gathering daily broker files and ACE data for reporting purposes conducting data mining for escalations and investigating findings for accuracy. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple sources of information to optimize duty recovery efforts and manage postentry activities efficiently.

  • Strong working knowledge of shipment/entry documentation and recordkeeping requirements
  • Understanding of various FTA/COO certificates and eligibility status
  • Proficiency in classifications/tariffs

  • Strong data analytical skills (Excel Power BI Power Query)

Responsibilities

  • Gather daily broker files and ACE data for finance reporting
  • Investigate duty spikes and data discrepancies
  • Conduct data mining for escalations and summarize findings
  • Manage postentry efforts including duty recovery and documentation
  • Create periodic reporting and presentations
  • Coordinate with brokers and facilitate necessary investigations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain logistics business administration or a related field
  • Customsrelated certifications are a plus

4. Do you have Various FTA/COO certificate understanding including eligibility status.

5. Do you have Strong working knowledge of classifications/tariffs (global experience would be a plus)

6. Do you have PowerPoint capabilities

7. Do you have Strong data analytical skills (Excel Power BI Power Query).

8. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
