Job Description
Senior Accountant Cost & Revenue (Singapore)
An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Senior Accountant to take ownership of cost and revenue accounting activities at a highperforming internationally connected organization within the hightech and semiconductor sector.
In this vital role you will:

Drive worldwide inventory standard cost updates within Oracle ERP systems.

Manage zerocost updates cost rollups (BOM) and monitor inventory excess & obsolescence (E&O) provisions.

Oversee subcontractor inventory reconciliations and Discrepant Material Requisition (DMR) approvals.
-
Support Return Material Authorization (RMA) accruals customer sample accruals and rebate management.
-
Lead monthend close activities for both revenue and cost streams.
-
Oversee Accounts Receivable processes including collections cash application credit reviews and dispute resolution.

Manage and validate distributor Ship & Debit claims distributor inventory reconciliations and pointofsale (POS) data.
-
Prepare and manage revenue forecasts for management reporting.

Support internal and external audits related to inventory distributors and other assigned areas.

Participate actively in new system implementations and operational finance projects.

Supervise a small capable finance team based in Singapore.
What You Bring:
-
A degree from a reputable university.
-
57 years of progressive experience including time spent in a Big 4 accounting firm.

Solid handson expertise in cost accounting and revenue/accounts receivable accounting.

Strong background in monthend close processes.

Prior experience in hightech and semiconductor industries is essential.

Proven supervisory and leadership experience managing junior finance staff.

A proactive analytical and detailoriented approach to managing complex financial operations.
