Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Validate PreConnection and PostConnection Certificates
    • Review and assess contractorsubmitted certificates (both electronic and paperbased) for completeness and compliance with regulations.
    • Ensure accuracy and validity.
  • Process Grant Applications
    • Validate grant submissions check contractor eligibility and supporting documentation.
  • Respond to Contractor Queries
    • Provide professional timely responses to incoming emails and calls.
    • Investigate issues and escalate to the appropriate manager or inspection team where necessary.
  • System Management and Data Entry
    • Enter validation outcomes into internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ensure that certificate and contractor records are current clear and accessible to other departments.
  • Handle Outstanding and Problematic Cases
    • Track and follow up on missing or problematic documentation (e.g. expired insurance nonconformance reports).
    • Coordinate with Customer Service and contractors to resolve outstanding issues or payments.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
    • Work closely with colleagues across departments to support shared goals and operational efficiency.
    • Take part in regular training (e.g. data security customer care) and contribute ideas for improving validation processes.
  • General Administration and Support
    • Support adhoc tasks reporting and team training initiatives as required.
    • Ensure your work aligns with SGSs Code of Integrity Health & Safety Policy and Equality & Diversity standards.

Qualifications :

Required

  • Minimum Leaving Certificate
  • 2 years of administrative experience
  • Strong IT skills especially in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a regulated or compliancedriven environment
  • Familiarity with document validation certification or grant processing not essential
