Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Duty Engineer to join our facilities management team in Baghdad Iraq. As a Duty Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilitys systems and equipment.
- Coordinate and collaborate with all departments to maintain seamless operations and maximize productivity
- Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in cold storage areas and public spaces
- Conduct regular inspections of fire detection systems firefighting equipment electrical systems and transformers
- Supervise the operation of HVAC systems boilers pumps and other critical equipment
- Ensure proper water levels are maintained in storage tanks
- Implement and follow safety protocols including the maintenance of fire safety equipment and first aid kits
- Coordinate with other departments for regular servicing and testing of equipment
- Stay updated on technological advancements in surveillance and safety equipment
- Troubleshoot and perform emergency repairs as needed
- Train and motivate team members on safety procedures and efficient resource utilization
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and fire safety systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle emergency repairs efficiently
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations in Baghdad Iraq
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
