BI Engineer

We are seeking a resultsdriven Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist with AI Emphasis (Consultant) to guide organizations in leveraging BI tools and AI capabilities for enhanced decisionmaking and operational efficiency. As a consultant you will analyze client needs design tailored BI and AI solutions and support the successful implementation of these technologies to drive business transformation. 

Responsibilities 

Client Engagement and Needs Analysis: 

• Collaborate with clients to understand business challenges goals and data requirements. 
• Conduct assessments of existing BI systems vs NIQ BI solution as well as bestin class BI solutions 
• Develop and present proposals for BI and/or AIdriven solutions. 

BI Solution Design and Delivery: 

• Design endtoend BI solutions from data identification down to data visualization including data management data modelling and data transformation 
• Design scalable and userfriendly BI dashboards reports and data visualizations. 
• Implement BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) and train client teams in their use. 

AI Integration and Analytics: 

• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems helping NIQ BI group to grow in this environment 
• Apply AI technologies such as natural language processing (NLP) sentiment analysis and forecasting to BI systems. 
• Package BI/AI solution into product to facilitate positioning and understanding from internal t client stakeholders 

Project Management and : 

• Lead BI and AI implementation projects ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. 
• Define project scope milestones and deliverables in collaboration with client stakeholders. 
• Monitor project progress and address challenges proactively. 

Data Governance and Compliance: 

• Advise clients on best practices for data governance security and compliance. 
• Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR CCPA). 
• Implement frameworks to maintain data accuracy and integrity. 

Training and Knowledge Transfer: 

• Provide training sessions to empower client teams in utilizing BI tools and AI solutions. 
• Support NIQ BI teams in growing their skillset in this domain 
• Document project processes and insights to support longterm client success. 

Thought Leadership and Strategy: 

• Stay current with emerging trends in BI and AI technologies. 
• Provide strategic insights to clients on futureproofing their BI and AI initiatives. 
• Develop white papers or case studies showcasing successful projects. 

Qualifications :

Required: 

Education: 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science Data Science Business Analytics or a related field. 

Experience: 

• 3 years of experience in business intelligence or AI consulting roles. 
• Proven track record of delivering BI and AI solutions across multiple industries leveraging PowerBI Tableau or other bestin class BI platforms 
• Handson experience with BI tools and AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow Scikitlearn PyTorch). 

Technical Skills: 

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling. 
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R. 
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud) and data warehouses. 

Soft Skills: 

• Exceptional problemsolving and analytical abilities. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fastpaced consulting environment. 
• Able to share BI solutions in a digestible way that helps our clients meet their strategic goals. 

Preferred: 

• Experience with data storytelling.
