Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for performing secretarial tasks and any office duties for the Executive Chef. To perform any other routine task as instructed by superiors.

Responsibilities

ATTITUDE

  • To reflect the ACCOR philosophy by providing a high quality of service to our customer by adopting a positive attitude and keeping the team spirit at the highest level
  • To greet with a smile at all times colleagues or guests anywhere in the hotel (Front or back of the house)
  • To have a pride of the selfpersonal appearance makeup and clothing
  • To remain confidential about all matters of such nature
  • To show initiative in the daily tasks during the absence of the Executive Chef from office. To report on what action has been taken upon his return

PERFORMANCE

  • To type letters reports and any other mailing or correspondence including memos in an efficient manner to distribute or mail keep copies in file type menus recipes etc.
  • To answer calls according to hotel standards
  • To keep Executive Chefs agenda updated and remind him about appointments
  • To receive visitors and screen them set up appointments after consulting with superior
  • To update the kitchen utensil budget
  • To update and distribute the ACCOR Safe Food and Hygiene Standards policies to all kitchen chefs
  • To check and record event order non conformance

ADMINISTRATION

  • To keep stock of stationary for the office makes requisition if necessary
  • To set up and maintain files according to the established system. To keep a trace file and inform the persons concerned about the due dates
  • To keep herself updated about all matters related to the F&B department and the hotel
  • To keep file of all kitchen staff by kitchen and screen their movements within the department and to inform the Executive Chef of the date of the staffs birthday and appraisal statue
  • To keep the Chef offices organisation chart updated
  • To perform job assigned by the Sous Chefs / Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef only after the Executive Chefs approval
  • To keep the office tidy clean and restricted to limited employees
  • To monitor and file annual leave form and forward a copy to the personnel department

Qualifications :

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum Hospitality school education
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Oral proficiency in English language

  • Wellpresented and professionally groomed at all times
