Jira Administrator I

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Jira and Confluence Administrator to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the administration maintenance and optimisation of our Jira and Confluence platforms. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure these tools are effectively supporting their needs and contributing to overall productivity.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• Platform Administration: Manage and maintain the Jira & Confluence platform ensuring its availability performance and scalability
• Customisation and Configuration: Customise Jira projects workflows screens and fields to meet the specific needs of teams and projects
• User Support and Training: Provide support to Jira  & Confluence users addressing issues and queries and conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency
• Integration: Work with development and IT teams to integrate Jira with other tools and systems enhancing crossplatform functionality
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor Jira & Confluence performance and troubleshoot any issues implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Jira configurations processes and best practices
• Optimise templates macros and permissions to improve content accessibility and usability

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Jira & Confluence Administrator
• Proficiency in Jira administration and configuration
• Experience with Jira plugins and addons
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Groovy JavaScript Python for Jira customisation
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of Atlassian Cloud Migration is a big plus
• Good to have Atlassian certifications (e.g. Jira Administrator Confluence Administrator)
• Good to have experience with Agile methodologies
