Rabobanks Technology division has an opening in Sydney for a visionary leader to head our Data & Analytics Engineering function. Reporting to the GM Technology this role will be responsible for setting & executing Rabobanks ANZ Data & Analytics Platform strategy delivering cloudnative data solutions & spearheading digital transformation initiatives. This role demands deep technical expertise in cloud computing (Azure) AI/ML & data engineering combined with strategic leadership financial acumen & a passion for innovation. In addition this role will lead teams comprising of Engineering Managers Lead Architects Solution Architects Design Leads & Engineers fostering a collaborative & innovative environment.

Top Role Accountabilities:

• Lead & manage the Rabobank ANZ Data & Analytics Platform (DAP) ensuring longterm sustainability scalability & financial viability
• Develop & operationalise AI/MLdriven analytics capabilities & integrate GenAI solutions to drive innovation & customer value
• Architect & oversee Azurebased cloud data platforms enabling realtime & batch data processing at scale
• Establish metadatadriven reusable frameworks for ingestion transformation streaming & egress pipelines
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align data strategy with organisational goals & customer needs
• Ensure data governance risk management & regulatory compliance across the enterprise
• Lead & mentor highperformance engineering teams across Cloud Infrastructure DevSecOps MLOps & DataOps disciplines

To be successful you will have:

• 15 years of experience in Advanced Data Analytics & Digital Transformation across complex datarich industries such as Banking Telecommunications Insurance or eCommerce
• Experience in senior line management
• Deep expertise in Cloud Data Engineering (Azure) Hadoop ecosystem streaming technologies (Kafka Flink Spark) & modern AI/ML platforms
• Proven experience delivering enterprisescale data platforms & digital transformation programs
• Strong background in Data Warehousing Teradata NoSQL databases & big data architectures
• Demonstrated capability in risk management strategic planning & financial oversight of large technology programs
• Experience leading teams & programs across multiple global regions & diverse cultures
