Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst to join our growing team. As a Security Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the security of all our digital systems and data. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential security threats implement security protocols and monitor our systems for any suspicious activity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and best practices as well as experience in risk assessment and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems and networks
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect our digital assets and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for any signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity
Investigate security breaches and incidents and provide timely and effective resolution
Collaborate with IT team to implement security solutions and upgrades to prevent future security incidents
Stay uptodate with the latest security trends threats and technologies to continuously improve our security posture
Conduct training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
3 years of experience in information security preferably in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices
Experience with risk assessment and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and PCIDSS
Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and vulnerability scanners
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or GIAC are a plus
