Job Description

Job Title: Thailand Financial Manager/Senior Financial Specialist

Report to: Thailand Factory Director (Chinese& Group Finance Director (Chinese

Job Responsibilities:

Tax Management (Core Responsibility)

Oversee the companys tax compliance in Thailand including but not limited to:

ValueAdded Tax (VAT): Accurately calculate file and pay VAT; master VAT refund processes; ensure compliance for crossborder transactions.

Personal Income Tax (PIT): Handle employee salary tax deductions file annual PIT returns (Forms 91/93/94 etc. and resolve tax disputes.

Corporate Income Tax (CIT): Prepare CIT returns and optimize tax planning strategies.

Withholding Tax (WHT): Manage WHT deductions and filings for suppliers/service providers.

Other Taxes: Stamp Duty Customs Duty Property and Land Tax etc.

Monitor updates to Thai tax regulations (e.g. RD BOI policies) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Lead tax audits coordinate with the Revenue Department (RD) and resolve tax disputes.

Design tax optimization strategies to legally reduce tax liabilities and provide crossborder tax structure advice.

General Ledger & Financial Management

Manage fullcycle accounting to ensure General Ledger accuracy under Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and IFRS.

Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (Balance Sheet Income Statement Cash Flow Statement).

Oversee AP AR Fixed Assets (FA) and other accounting modules.

Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors.

Develop and improve financial internal controls and perform regular reconciliations.


Additional Responsibilities

Participate in budget preparation analysis and cost monitoring.

Support localization and optimization of financial systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).

Assist management decisions by providing financial analysis and business insights.


Mandatory Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of tax management experience in Thai local companies with expertise in Thai tax laws and practices (e.g. fullcycle VAT refunds).

Proficiency in Thai general ledger processes and fullcycle accounting.

Fluency in Thai for drafting tax reports and official documents;

Thai Tax Auditor certification is preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing trading or multinational companies Thailand branches.

Familiarity with BOI incentives and tax filing procedures.

ERP system experience (e.g. SAP Oracle).


Additional Notes:

Deep understanding of Thailands tax system (e.g. RDs filing system) is required. Candidates must provide past tax optimization cases or successful refund examples.

Ability to handle highintensity workloads during quarter/yearend and collaborate across departments.
