The Global Asset Modeling team comprises a team of highly engaged and dynamic professionals who oversee asset modeling deliverables and ensure the integrity accuracy and transparency of the companys reported investment related earnings. Our global team operates from Boston Manila Toronto and Waterloo.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in all business segments (Asia Canada US) Corporate Actuarial Asset Liability Management Risk Audit and others.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the quarterly review and validation of all IFRS 17 related discount and crediting rates for all applicable products.
Support the annual assessment and update of IFRS 17 discount rate parameters discount rate policy and other asset related assumptions.
Support the consolidation validation and analysis of investment related earnings.
Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly forecasts of financial results.
Lead collaborations with both internal and external auditors to maintain a robust risk control and governance framework for discount rates and investment results.
Manage adhoc asset modeling projects.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in actuarial science business finance or a related field.
ASA ACIA or nearing completion of these designations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) Power BI and QlikView
Working knowledge of AXIS asset modeling is advantageous.

Salary range is expected to be between
$75180.00 CAD $139620.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location please contact for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant jobrelated factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
