JOB Mechanical Technician
LOCATION Hemel Hempstead
TERM Permanent
SALARY 30000 to 35000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Hemel Hempstead who are looking to hire a Mechanical Technician to support their growing team.
The Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
Previous experience in a mechanical technician or fitter role
Handson experience with mechanical assembly maintenance or repairs
Good understanding of mechanical systems tools and equipment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
Strong faultfinding and problemsolving skills
A relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship NVQ HND etc. is desirable
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a proactive approach
The Mechanical Technician role will involve:
Assembling installing and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment
Working from technical drawings and specifications
Performing inspections and fault diagnosis on machinery
Carrying out repairs and modifications where needed
Supporting engineers and project teams with mechanical builds
Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
Maintaining accurate records of work completed
