Job Description

Job Overview:
Looking for a proactive IT (Systems) Associate to support maintain and improve our IT infrastructure ensuring smooth and secure operations across our internal and external technology environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain system infrastructure including servers networks and storage

Perform system monitoring backups and routine maintenance tasks
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and connectivity issues
Ensure endpoint security antivirus updates and patch management
- Support configuration of email systems collaboration tools and enterprise applications

Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software
Maintain asset inventory and IT documentation
- Provide tech support to employees and coordinate with vendors as needed
Primary Skills (MustHave):
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPNs)
- Understanding of Active Directory Office 365 and cloudbased systems

Basic scripting (PowerShell Bash) and automation familiarity
Experience with IT support ticketing systems and user support
Secondary Skills (GoodtoHave):
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection policies

Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMware HyperV)

Interest in social impact tech environments or NGO tech support
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field
- 15 years of experience in a systems or IT support role
- Strong communication skills and a serviceoriented mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fastmoving impactdriven organization
