Job Description
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Robbinsdale MN
Schedule: Days 8hour shifts; 80 hours per twoweek pay period
Hourly Pay Range: $24.50 $32.77 (based on experience)
Position Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides individualized care to patients across all age groups in a clinic setting ensuring quality care according to established policies and procedures. The role focuses on patient monitoring observation intervention and direct support of providers during examinations and treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort patients to exam rooms obtain vital signs and prepare rooms for examination
- Assist providers during exams procedures and treatments
- Perform diagnostic tests (e.g. EKGs oxygen saturation vision/hearing screenings) and document results
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers
- Schedule patient referrals exams and treatments
- Notify patients of test and procedure results following provider instructions
- Answer and triage patient phone calls as necessary
- Maintain stocked clean and organized exam rooms
- Comply with legal regulatory and ethical standards maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- Strong skills in patient care organization communication and documentation
- Ability to perform various diagnostic testing procedures
- Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
