Job Description
Join our client a leading financial technology company on the expansion of their Application support group. Youll play a crucial role in supporting the 3rd party applications delivering professional IT support for users and improving the monitoring and automation processes.
Role highlights:

- Providing support for various 3rd party applications across onpremise AWS deployments and SaaS platforms.
Onboarding new applications and enhancing existing ones
- Monitoring and addressing software issues while enhancing system stability.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to swiftly restore services and address underlying issues.
- Partnering with traders researchers and developers to develop tailored platforms and environments.
- Driving innovation in processes to streamline timetomarket and enhance productivity.
- Implementing automated and scalable application systems processes and controls.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Support/DevOps
- Sound knowledge in application support and incident management with excellent analytical and problemsolving skills autonomous detail minded and eager to learn new tech
- Experience AWS provisioning (ECS EKS) through IaC e.g. Terraform Ansible
- Implementation and management knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana Splunk etc.
Scripting experience in languages like Python Bash and PowerShell
Handson experience of troubleshooting network issues
Comfortable working with and administering Linux as well as Windows
Knowhow on monitoring and managing Refinitiv TREP is preferable
Experience in trading application support is desirable.
- Working experience with DevOps tools e.g. GitLab Artifactory Atlassian Slack etc. are an advantage.
