Job Description
My client a global player in the prime finance and lending landscape is hiring a Lead Engineer to join their core team based here in Hong Kong. The Lead Engineer will be a key person in spear heading the platforms development to meet meet the growing business demand as well as lead a highly skilled team across the region. Youll be the platforms representative and collaborate closely with front office stakeholders to work on and showcase its continued growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the team to design and build a scalable prime finance trading system
- Take the lead for the architectural design and make decisions when needed
- Collaborate with front office stakeholders to work transparently on requirements and improvements
- Oversee that risk and controls are taken in consideration and work closely with respective teams
- Continue to review the design of the platform to identify opportunities for improvements.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent experience developing Prime Finance /Delta 1 / Synthetics trading platforms
- Strong experience in architectural design for distributed trading platforms
- Expert experience and knowledge of core backend Java
- Experienced working in an Agile environment
- Understanding of Devops
- Excellent communicator in English
