The Opportunity
As a Senior CloudOps Engineer youll help to lead the design deployment and governance of our cloud infrastructure. Youll take a strategic and handson approach to building secure scalable and highly available environments.
This is your chance to make an impact driving infrastructure maturity mentoring junior engineers and embedding best practices across a growing cloudforward organisation.
Your Impact
- Design support and optimise cloud infrastructure for scalability security and high performance.
- Lead HA/DR and backup strategy implementation across hybrid and multicloud environments.
- Own cloud governance: security compliance FinOps and operational excellence.
- Implement observability tools like Datadog CloudWatch and Azure Monitor.
- Strengthen cloud security (IAM encryption vulnerability management).
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of DevOps excellence.
- Ensure industry compliance such as SOC2 Type II and drive continuous improvement.
What Youll Bring
- 5 years in CloudOps Infrastructure Engineering or SRE
- Expertise in AWS (preferred) and Azure cloud environments
- Strong Windows Server management (including Active Directory)
- Proven FinOps and governance implementation experience
- Experience in IaC scripting (Python PowerShell) and CI/CD pipelines
- Leadership experience with a mentoring mindset
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills
Nicetohaves
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar
- Familiarity with SOC 2 ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
