My client is a leading Tier1 Investment bank.
The Group delivers usercentred design and strategic initiatives across the firm; from clientfacing applications to tools and software for frontoffice sales and trading middle and backoffice operations and analysis infrastructure data and the broader employee and enterprise experience.
What you will do as an UX Designer:
- Leading projects of all sizes and varying complexities autonomously setting the direction for the UX team and planning and leading collaborative workshops with stakeholders and endusers
- Defining the product vision and ensure stakeholder alignment
- Setting the bar and vision for quality standards while helping to improve work that does not meet this threshold
- Providing feedback and creative direction to new and existing projects
- Strategizing and executing the product vision by being heavily involved in the endtoend product design process
- Defining user journeys and surfacing the underlying needs and motivation of the users to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value
- Designing intuitive and elegant experiences that empower the firms employees and clients to make confident effective decisions
- Working closely with the research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make valuedriven design decisions which then translate into clear simple UIs
- Creating and presenting a variety of design deliverables (sketches wireframes user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions within the team and the greater organization
- Designing holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into the wealth management product ecosystem
- Partnering with the design system accessibility and UX copy teams to design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces
- Collaborating and supporting engineers by translating designs into successful products
- An outstanding digital product portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and end user needs
- 5 years of UX Design experience as a key contributor to the success of products that have launched
- Mastery of strategic hard and soft UX skills
- Bachelors degree in design or related field; masters degree is a plus
- Fluency in Figma or equivalent
- You practice active listening and contribute to ingroup situations (i.e. brainstorms audits critiques whiteboard sessions etc.
- You have a high tolerance for projects with ambiguity and the ability to set the direction for undefined complex projects
- You are resilient in the face of obstacles
- You have a relentless desire to validate assumptions and uncover a problems root cause by testing learning and iterating
- You constantly seek opportunities to evangelize and promote design thinking in a large organization
