Job Description
If you are interested building a very large and a brandnew planning system from scratch this is an opportunity for you. We are building a suite of technology platforms and modules for a strategic growth organization. This is a greenfield architecture and a highly visible charter. You will be a critical voice in the decisionmaking process create a substantial impact on product features and will have the ability to redefine the customer experience.
Welcome to Project Nazir where we are building multiple products from scratch to manage the endtoend planning and financial processes for Global Engineering Service (GES). This is a multiyear initiative. The GES organization is responsible for the design and construction of all Amazon fulfillment related facilities across the Amazon global network. This strategic organization builds and invests in the capacity to deliver growth for Consumer Fulfillment Amazon Transportation Amazon Air Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) and PillPack. GES spends tens of billion dollars in the construction of assets to deliver on capacity for planned shipping and retail demand for our external customers. To build this suite of planning and financial systems we will stretch the limits of distributed systems and big data processing to solve hard technical problems and unprecedented scale challenges.
As part of this team you will work with executive leaders engineering product and operations stakeholders to drive process improvement generate ideas validate entitlement and then produce a path to production. You will define product strategy develop the product development roadmap and drive . Youll work in a fastpaced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level but also tactically daytoday by diving deeply into business and technical domains.
5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience as a product manager or owner
Experience owning technology products
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
