Are you a skilled programmer with a passion for breaking things Were seeking a *Lead Test Automation Engineer* who combines exceptional programming abilities with a qualityfocused mindset.

Unlike traditional QA roles this position requires you to be a developer firstwho happens to specialize in quality. Youll leverage your deep programming expertise to create sophisticated testing frameworks develop complex test automation and contribute to our codebase while ensuring everything we release meets the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cloudbased technologies such as Azure version control systems like GitHub and GitLab and a strong understanding of testing methodologies. As a QA Engineer youll be responsible for designing implementing and executing test plans to identify defects and ensure highquality software releases.

Education

• in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Work location: Bangalore (Hybrid mode)

Background & Experience

• 5 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance engineering Test automation roles.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java Python or JavaScriptcomparable to a midsenior developer
• Previous experience in a QA Engineer role focused on integration testing.
• Experience inwriting automation to integrate products with SCM tools like Gitlab GitHub Bit bucket and Jenkins.
• Expertise withDocker and Kubernetes.
• REST/SOAP testing familiarity orexpertise using tools like JMeter and SoapUI is a plus
• Expertnetwork security Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
• UnderstandREST API for data interchange
• Solid knowledge ofSQL databases: PostgreSQL MySQL or similar technologies
• Experience with industry standard automation and development tools (JIRA Jenkins Git Docker etc.
• Expertise inidentifying performance bottlenecks and troubleshooting performance issues in multilayers web applications
• Familiarity with security testing principles including penetration testing.
• Experience with productionlevel monitoring systems like Datadog and performance testing tools.
• Experience developing contract tests and contract test frameworks
• Experience implementing tools for monitoring service health alerting metrics
• Familiar with SSO OAUTH2 OpenID or SAML and RBAC concepts
• Understand user experience usability and ease of use
• Understand backward compatibility
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of our software applications.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate testing workflows using GitHub Actions GitLab Bitbucket or other similar tools.
• Apply various testing methodologies to identify defects and improve overall software quality.
• Work closely with development teams product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and priorities.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices.
• Report defects to service development teams through detailed investigation and data collection
• Create data sets and tools for generating large scale customerlike data sets for detailed environment testing
