Job Description
Within the project of cloudification of datamarts the Teradata environment will be decommissioned by the end of 2025.
The Teradata Marketing datamart CKI (Customer Knowledge Information) will be migrated to a new datamart in SYNAPSE environment.
Assignment:
Beta or UAT testing of the migration.
Planning and conceptualization of the necessary test runs.
Organization of test-runs: test plans scenarios scripts or procedures and test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
Development and execution of testing programs that address database impacts software scenarios or usability.
Identification documentation and reporting of bugs/issues through a defect-process
Requirements
For this job a tester needs a very good knowledge of IT and technical skills apart from a strong knowledge of best practices as a tester. UAT Tester must be able to create methods for testing so analytical thinking is important.
UAT tester skills required:
Ability to write test documentation such as test plans scripts reports
Strong technical skills and abilities including databases and SAS SQL
Skilled at testing process and methodologies
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to create UAT test plans cases and scripts
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong multi-tasking abilities and time management skills
