The Analyst IT Operations will be based in Pune reporting to Manager.
In this role you will be Incharge of performing operational processes and procedures to ensure all IT services systems and infrastructure meet business needs.
Daytoday operational hold up and service delivery of the Hybrid Cloud IT infrastructure by monitoring and acknowledging to IT Infrastructure incidents through the incident tracking system. Proactively monitor systems for availability capacity and performance. Participate in the Patch management process IT Business Continuity and Disaster recovery planning and testing. Computer programming to automate manual IT Ops wherever applicable.
What a typical day looks like:
Assist in the development maintenance and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Support in the creation and review of recovery strategies and procedures for various business functions.
Monitor and report on BC/DR activities ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure preparedness for potential disruptions or disasters.
Participate in simulations and tabletop exercises to evaluate response effectiveness.
Support security teams in managing and configuring security tools such as Rapid7 for vulnerability scanning and patch management.
Assist in penetration testing efforts to identify vulnerabilities within the infrastructure and provide recommendations for remediation.
Help analyze security data from various sources and contribute to improving the security posture of the organization.
Track and document security findings and remediation efforts.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
Familiarity with disaster recovery planning business continuity concepts
Experience or knowledge of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing (tools like Rapid7 Nessus or similar) is a plus.
Understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with business continuity frameworks (e.g. ISO 22301 NIST ITIL).
Knowledge of security tools and concepts such as vulnerability management penetration testing and security auditing.
Basic knowledge of Rapid7 or other vulnerability management tools is a plus.
Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows Linux) and networking concepts.
Strong problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
Proactive approach to learning new technologies and techniques.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
