Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Virginia Department of Agriculture is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sourcing Consultant to lead and support sourcing initiatives by gathering requirements developing comprehensive solicitations (e.g. IFBs RFPs RFQs) and drafting Statements of Work. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders finance and vendors to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Candidate will develop solicitations that clearly define the background and objectives of the procurement provide a clear scope of work and utilizes appropriate terms and conditions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Requirements gathering
- Develop and manage end-to-end solicitation processes including IFBs RFPs RFQs
- Draft review and finalize solicitations and Statements of Work
- Strategic thinking and problem solving
