In this role you will be a key member of the team creating enterprise applications needed to design build and operate the organizations business services. You will own and operate ERP systems critical to Project Kuiper. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous strong knowledge of SAP functional and technical modules organizational and time management skills and has a successful track record of delivering largescale engineering projects. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced collaborative environment is essential.
Key job responsibilities
Lead and create business requirements and accurately translate them into functionality
Functionally architect Cognitus/SAP modules that support both commercial and Government requirements
Clearly articulate benefits in business language
Integrate Cognitus/SAP systems with corporate applications and other related Kuiper systems while ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protection
Engage business sponsors and contribute to their targeted business outcomes
Identify solution gaps and develop gap closure options
Present complex information to stakeholders and teams in a clear and appealing manner
Manage ambiguity and create accurate project effort estimates and articulate risks throughout the lifecycle.
Recognize implications of business strategy changes
Provide functional leadership and mentorship to development and support teams
Oversee customization and configuration of Cognitus and SAP applications to meet business needs
Stay abreast of new features and enhancements to optimize utilization of SAP technologies

About the team
Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) Business Systems team is responsible for a suite of products to automate and optimize business operations for Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS). This is anchored in business process modeling and configuring SAP ERPs enterprise capabilities to streamline and optimize critical business processes including OrdertoCash (OTC) ProcuretoPay (PTP) RecordtoReport (RTR) and MaketoOrder (MTO). The team also owns Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Pricing systems. The solutions are built to comply with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field or relevant work experience
5 years of experience as SAP functional architect
6 years of SAP experience with Delivery of an endtoend design and implementation as the main focus
3 years experience in analyzing creating system specifications and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies
Masters degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline
Functional knowledge in 2 or more of the following modules Cognitus Government Contracts & Billing Contract flow down Incurred cost reporting Government Property/Logistics Project System Enhancement (Actual costing)
Experience with SAP manufacturing Warehouse Management and Inventory Management
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA with RISE
Comprehensive understanding of custom development approach and integration strategy from both a technical and functional perspective
Experience with SAP security best practices that ensure SAP systems comply with industry regulations and standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
Exposure to compliance regulations like FAR ITAR and Export Compliance is a plus
Strong understanding of SAP best practices and industry standards

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
