RHVH is looking for afulltime CVT to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You
As a CVTyoullplayan important rolein pets lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey.Your lifechanging work will range from the handson care offacilitatingoutpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to surgeryassistance to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Veterinary technician licensure
- 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Must have surgical anesthesia and dental experience.
- AnAssociates or Bachelorsdegree from an AVMAaccredited veterinary technology program preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care advocate for pets and educate clients.
- With each hospital functionassistveterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity andmaintainpositive patient flow.
- Assistwith surgeries and proceduresin accordance withyour states Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options medications andadditionaltreatments.
- Assistinmaintainingrelevant comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients andmaintainmedical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques follow standard protocols and sustain clean sterile organized treatment areas exam rooms and labs.
- Be willing to guide mentor and support fellow team members.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience$1823/hr. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience and location.
