Job Description

Position Overview:We are seeking an innovative and passionate Arts and Entertainment Pathway Teacher to join our high school team. This educator will have the unique opportunity to shape and lead a dynamic pathway focused on preparing students for careers and further study in the creative arts media and entertainment industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the arts and a desire to build meaningful projectbased learning experiences that reflect realworld role offers significant curriculum autonomy allowing the teacher to design and teach a variety of courses that reflect their expertise and respond to student interests local opportunities and industry Responsibilities:Design and teach engaging standardsaligned courses within the Arts and Entertainment Pathway including (but not limited to) visual arts digital media film music production theater or graphic design PodcastingDevelop and adapt curriculum that blends artistic creativity with technical skillbuilding and career a classroom environment that encourages creativity collaboration critical thinking and with colleagues industry professionals and community partners to create authentic learning experiences such as guest speakers field trips exhibitions performances or industrystandard tools and technology into students in developing portfolios audition pieces or other artifacts relevant to postsecondary applications or careers in the in schoolwide pathway planning and crossdisciplinary as an advisor or mentor to students pursuing artsrelated goals.
