Job Description
Applicants should possess a comprehensive understanding of the current and emerging trends in web technology with a critical awareness of their implications on usercentered design. You should have strong communication skills and expertise in a wide range of technologies including React/JavaScript/NodeJS HTML/CSS XML/JSON Adobe Creative Suite WCAG AA/accessibility standards and GenAI/LLMs. Experience with Figma and AWS is also required.
You are customerobsessed detailoriented and adept at working on highly technical teams while collaborating effectively with nontechnical creative counterparts. You excel in improving team standards writing thorough documentation and managing multiple projects in a fastpaced environment with a high degree of autonomy. You can translate business requirements into exceptional customer experiences by prioritizing the customer perspective and maintaining relentlessly high standards.
Equally passionate about design and development you possess strong frontend development skills a creative problemsolving mindset and a keen eye for worldclass functional design. You will contribute disruptive ideas for conceptualizing creating and delivering branded shopping experiences for millions of customers worldwide. Your work will span across platforms such as desktop mobile Fire tablet Fire TV Alexa Twitch Amazon Live and other Amazon properties.

Key job responsibilities
Own the endtoend development process and deliverables from a design and technical perspective and deliver high quality bug free code.
Provide design and technical leadership; work closely with business teams in development of campaign strategy use cases and technical requirements
Concept firsttomarket innovations that utilize Amazons canvas alongside creative counterparts
Prototype new features and products tackling ambiguous challenges that affect the global team.
Optimize internal processes and tooling for broader impact strategically aligning initiatives to maximize revenue and influence
Present work to peers product teams and Senior leadership
Provide leadership mentor and coaching to your immediate and extended team on the latest industry trends tooling and best practices in web development and design
Expand your influence by collaborating with partner teams increasing productivity and effectiveness
4 years of frontend technologist engineer or UX prototyper experience
Have coding samples in front end programming languages
Have an available online portfolio
Experience developing visually polished engaging and highly fluid UX prototypes
Experience collaborating with UX Product and technical partners
Knowledge of databases and AWS database services: ElasticSearch Redshift DynamoDB
Experience with machine learning (ML) tools and methods

The base pay for this position ranges from $138800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239900/year in our highest geographic market.
