Job Description
Amazon Fresh is looking for an Manager Instock Launch Planning to join our launch team. If youre passionate about precision in buying and forecasting thrive in a fastpaced environment and are ready to make a significant impact on our grocery business this role is tailormade for you.
In this role you will lead a team of high performing individuals that own developing plans and executing on initiatives that will support excellent inventory management build an effective supply chain and drive successful interactions with our partner teams.
To be successful in this role you should be able to create a strategic vision for your team and feel comfortable using data to influence others and build scalable systems and processes to allow our business to grow. In joining this team you will have the opportunity to both build and operate in an ambiguous fastpaced environment and will drive initiatives that improve sales customer experience and process improvement within retail and operations.
Key job responsibilities
A successful Manager of Instock Launch Planning will:
Manage a team of high performing individuals in the instock launch planning space
Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved instock inventory planning vendor operational improvement (efficiency fill rates lead time) forecasting and waste reduction
Drive crossfunctional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business
Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
Write documents and updates that communicate insights in a digestible manner to senior leaders.
Collaborate with Instock Category Teams Marketing Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate inbound ramp and promotional plans for new launches develop tools automation and improve processes.
7 years of Excel experience
Bachelors degree or 5 years of professional or military experience
5 years of team management experience
Experience working with complex data sets
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience leading process improvement systems development and project management
Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
Experience with SQL
Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
