About this role:
In this role you will be part of a multidisciplinary globally located development team to support develop and implement for Gartners quantitative analysis platform in support of the companys research and advisory organization.
What youll do:
- Participate in the design implementation and testing of software applications and services.
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and assist in creating technical specifications.
- Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
- Support project teams by assisting in the planning and of technologybased projects.
- Assist in the development of plans for technology and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
- Engage in technical activities such as estimating planning designing building testing and migrating solutions into production.
- Work with product owners and business analysts to understand and refine business requirements for technical design.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers focusing on identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
What youll need:
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in software development.
68 years of experience in software development including fullstack application development.
Proven experience in designing and deploying software solutions with active participation in largescale projects.
Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with all phases of the application development lifecycle.
Strong software development skills with a solid foundation in objectoriented design and experience in architecting software applications or possessing a data science background and willingness to learn.
Must have strong experience in Python development.
Experience developing fullstack applications React or similar technology.
Broad familiarity with cloud technologies AWS preferred.
Familiarity with IBMs Planning Analytics (TM1 and/or Microsoft Tabular data models is considered a plus.
Experience with integrating applications using GenAI APIs is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
As a member of a globally distributed team you will be expected to work independently with daily checkins while having access to support whenever necessary.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116000 USD 163000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO a 401k match up to $7200 per year the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount and more.
