We are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Individual contributor/No management) to join our Cyber Security Products (CSP) Data Protection Team in Spain. Our CSP Data Protection portfolio is world leading in enterprise and banking security from core data protection to secure access at the edge of the network. We protect more data transactions and identities than any other company supporting 3000 financial institutions and secure more than 80 of the worlds intrabank fund transfers and protect the worlds leading software applications.

As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) you will be responsible for managing a territory a set of enterprise accounts in Spain and maximizing revenue for the company. Tasked with creating developing and executing sales strategies for the assigned region developing and implementing key strategic accounts/channel initiatives vertical markets and account plans with solution provider/partners/Key Accounts specializing in security solutions Cloud HSMs Encryption and Data Protection.

What you are able to do:

  • Discover develop manage and grow strategic accounts new Logo/Customers Industries and assigned territories.
  • Identify qualify and quantify all opportunities within assigned accounts and/or territory.
  • Develop Manage execute a medium and longterm go to market strategy and business plans.
  • Develop and present Thales CSP solutions to customer meetings and marketing events.
  • Develop relationships with top management (MD Vice Presidents; CxO level).
  • Enable partner community to sell Thales Cloud Protection Licensing (CSP) solutions.
  • Provide accurate and reliable weekly forecast to the management.
  • Works in team collaborate closely with Presales Engineers Products Marketing and peer sales teams.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all sales opportunities throughout the sales process using the CRM system (SFDC)
  • Other duties/special projects as assigned.

Experience Education & Skills:

Experience:

  • 7 years of sales experience in IT industries enterprise software companies at least 3 years at major account sales and at the regional level in IT Security field.
  • Channel sales experience in developing and implementing channel.
  • Experience to work with system integrators service providers large resellers channel development and network industry with experience in security is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor degree (B.A / B.S. or higher.

Skills:

  • Capable of closing complex deals from discovering sales opportunities to contract completion.
  • Strong communication skills mandatory with the ability to engage with all levels of a partner organization.
  • Knowledge in security technology enterprise software and Hardware IT solutions cloud ideally in a security software/solutions environment.
  • Strong presentation skills at all levels business development acumen and virtual team building.
  • Results oriented and effective in customer situations comprising senior level management.
  • Must have proven ability to work independently in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Ability to manage business while achieving a high level of customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Background in IT Security products Data Encryption/Crypto Management and Hardware Security Module (HSMs) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English & Spanish.
