About the Role
As the Electrical Division Leader you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the electrical scope within our custom residential projects.
You will manage a team of electricians and project leads coordinate resources monitor financial performance and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
You will also play a key role in driving operational excellence mentoring field teams and expanding the capabilities of the electrical division.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of electricians project leads and apprentices. Foster a highperformance accountable culture focused on safety quality and efficiency.
- Project : Oversee project scheduling resource planning and job site to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Financial Management: Track and manage labor hours material budgets and change orders to maximize job profitability.
- Client and Contractor Relations: Build strong trusted relationships with homeowners builders architects and other trades. Represent the electrical division with professionalism and integrity.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all work is completed in compliance with local codes and project specifications.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve job site challenges. Act as the first point of escalation for technical and logistical issues.
- Administration & Reporting: Utilize project management tools (iPoint Bluebeam MS Office) for job costing documentation and reporting. Keep all stakeholders informed through regular progress updates.
What Were Looking For
- Experience: 5 years in project management within residential electrical construction preferably in highend or custom singlefamily homes.
- Licenses: California Journeyman (required)
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead field teams build trust and maintain a strong team culture.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of NEC codes custom home wiring standards lighting control preps panel builds service upgrades and smart home infrastructure basics.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management scheduling and project coordination abilities.
- Communication: Clear professional communication skills for coordinating with clients builders designers and internal teams.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and project management platforms like iPoint and Bluebeam.
