Job Description
- Supervise mowing crews on multiple highend residential properties to ensure work is performed according to schedule and quality standards.
- Understand and execute weekly mowing schedules and specific lawn maintenance instructions.
- Identify and manage different turfgrass types and implement proper mowing techniques for each.
- Ensure safe and proper use of all mowing and trimming equipment including zeroturn mowers walkbehind mowers edgers and string trimmers.
- Inspect completed work to confirm adherence to quality expectations and client specifications.
- Train and coach team members on correct mowing patterns blade height adjustments and safe equipment handling.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and other foremen to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor and report any turf issues such as disease pests or overgrowth to appropriate supervisors.
- Strong understanding of warmseason and coolseason grasses (e.g. Bermuda Zoysia St. Augustine Fescue)
- Proficiency with commercialgrade mowing and trimming equipment
- Ability to diagnose basic turf health issues
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Physical ability to work outdoors and lift up to 80 lbs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
