THE POSITION

Odyssey Hotel Group is seeking a motivated and resultsdriven Groups & Events Sales Specialist to strengthen our Groups & Events Sales Team. Within this role you are responsible for generating revenue by promoting and selling groups and event services throughout our portfolio in Europe. The Groups & Events Sales Specialist works closely with clients the sales team and other commercial departments to deliver exceptional service.

Job requirements

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Qualify new leads to acquire new business opportunities in the groups and events segment.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients corporate partners and event organizers.

  • Identify and capitalize on upselling and crossselling opportunities to maximize revenue.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring seamless communication and tailored event solutions.

  • Conduct sales calls site inspections and presentations to potential clients.

  • Prepare proposals negotiate contracts and manage all eventrelated documentation.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful of events.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Proven experience in sales (group) reservations account management or business development preferably in hospitality or event sales.

  • Strong ability to establish and maintain client relationships.

  • Excellent communication negotiation and organizational skills.

  • A proactive and targetdriven mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Experience with CRM systems and event sales platforms is an advantage (OPERA is a pr).
