The role
We are currently seeking an inspiring leader in the field of paramedicine to provide leadership in paramedicine research education and community engagement. You will be a leader in promoting excellence in the Schools teaching research scholarly and professional activities and supporting other academic staff. You will deliver teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Paramedicine courses using blended modes of subject delivery and grow the research profile of the discipline.
The successful candidate will be expected to progress an active research profile relevant to paramedicine and aligned to the Schools strategic direction.
To be successful in this role you will have proven outstanding leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities with a demonstrated commitment to upholding the Universitys values a track record in outstanding research and teaching expertise.
As the Associate Head of School Paramedicine you will have academic staff supervision and delegated portfolio responsibilities that align with an identified set of strategic and management objectives within a specific discipline portfolio. When delegated you will be authorised to act for and on behalf of the Head of School.
