Job Title:Adults Social Worker Adults Locality Team Gateshead
Location: Gateshead (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: 201 per day
About the Role:
An exciting job role has recently become available at the Gateshead Council. They are looking for a Social Worker for their Locality Team.

Requirements for the role:
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014 Mental Health Act 2007 Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Safeguarding Adults policies.
- Understanding of hospital discharge guidance Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Continuing Health Care and section 117 aftercare.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation in practice while ensuring compliance with the Local Authoritys statutory responsibilities.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
- SWE registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK license
- Postqualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
