Job Description

United Security Services Inc. is looking for experienced Security Officers to join our team in the West Palm Beach area.

DESCRIPTION:United Security Services is hiring for a Security Officer position at one of our properties in West Palm Beach FL. We have fulltime and parttime positions available with overnight daytime and afternoon shifts available. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with being mobile and on their feet for extended periods of time. A Class D license is required along with prior experience in hospitality to provide excellent service in a commercial setting.

If interested an uptodate resume is an absolute must as they will be reviewed for interviewscheduling.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide a welcoming environment and provide needed services for guests

Patrol guest areas for suspicious activities and unauthorized people

Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills

Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the hotel

Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations occurrences and surveillance activities

Have a professional appearance and demeanor

Other responsibilities may apply

Requirements:

Class D License required

At least 2 3 years of Security experience

Willingness to submit to a background check

Prior Customer Service and Hospitality experience

Weekend Availability is an absolute must

Open availability to work preferred

Ability to stand up and walk for 8 hours Preferred Qualifications:

Hotel security experience

Exlaw enforcement

Military service

Two forms of ID preferably a valid Drivers License or State ID and a Social Security Card or Birth Certificate. A valid passport is permitted as well.

Valid Florida Class D Security License
