Job Summary/Description:
Team player. Organized. Aggressive with breaking news and understands accountability storytelling across all levels. WBTV is searching for a general assignment reporter who embodies passion drive and a commitment to excellence across all levels at the premier legacy station in the Carolinas.
Were searching for someone who can see an On Your Side story. Where others may only see surfacelevel coverage we see a deeper level of journalism. In short were looking for a strong journalist who can lead and inspire others to supercharge our brand. This position is also a team player who complements the entire staff and pushes to be the best day in and day out in a thriving city.
Please note primary job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the information listed above.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Five years of minimum experience in a television newsroom or digital workplace.
Were also searching for a reporter who can move in a fastpaced newsroom environment with the ability to move to breaking news as needed.
This is not an entrylevel position.
