Job Description
Spacesaver Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!.

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Spacesaver you will be responsible for:
- Communicate with a positive demeanor to all Spacesaver team members.
- Perform maintenancerelated activities of equipment buildings and grounds safely and proficiently.
- Diagnose and repair complex equipment breakdowns. When needed effectively communicate issues with OEM vendors and outside resources for rapid identification and closure of issues.
- Perform Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training
- Suggest changes to and perform modifications of existing Spacesaver equipment and/or designs to improve safety quality delivery and productivity.
- Perform safe and effective operation of lathes vertical mills pipe threaders conduit benders hydraulic presses pneumatic and electric hand tools material handling equipment welders plasma arc & cutting torches.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical or associates degree or a minimum of 57 years of experience in maintaining industrial equipment (robotics controls mechanical hydraulic pneumatic electrical) Experience on equipment and automation consistent with a sheet metal fabrication and painting operation preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude knowledge of codes and regulations as they apply to an industrial maintenance role
- Ability to interpret drawings schematics and machine specifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills good attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
