Role Title: Financial Controller

Client Summary: Our client a leading player in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to join their Group Finance team. This established company with a strong presence in the food and beverage manufacturing sector offers an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified finance professional to make a significant impact.

Job Description: As a Financial Controller in the Group Finance team youll play a crucial role in driving financial excellence across the organization. This position offers a unique blend of analytical challenges and strategic insights providing an ideal platform for career growth in a fastpaced FMCG environment. Youll have the opportunity to work with cuttingedge financial tools and contribute to key decisionmaking processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts honing your skills in financial reporting
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting and treasury management gaining valuable experience in financial planning
  • Collaborate on quarterly interim and yearend reporting processes developing a comprehensive understanding of grouplevel finance
  • Drive the budgeting process enhancing your strategic financial planning abilities
  • Create impactful weekly and monthly flash reports developing your skills in concise financial communication
  • Manage the group CAPEX process gaining exposure to capital expenditure strategies
  • Conduct indepth financial data analysis sharpening your analytical prowess
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including banks and auditors building your professional network
  • Lead the management and upkeep of the BI platform expanding your technical expertise
  • Oversee SARS notifications for the Group deepening your understanding of tax implications

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified CIMA or equivalent qualification demonstrating your commitment to professional development
  • 13 years of experience in a financial role preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems with an interest in Prophix Lease Tracker and Qlik applications
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to learning and problemsolving
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Valid drivers license and own transport
