Position Overview
We are looking for a Parts Coordinator to support and streamline the administration of our parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative foundation and practical knowledge of workshop environments particularly involving heavy diesel equipment. This role would suit a technicallyminded administrator or a qualified Diesel Mechanic looking to transition into an officebased role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all administrative functions related to the parts department.
  • Open job cards and capture timesheets.
  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
  • Perform job costing and generate purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate filing of all partsrelated documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external queries related to parts and procurement.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between workshop suppliers and internal departments.
Requirements
  • Minimum: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • Previous experience with Sage Evolution software is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in both Afrikaans and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience in a heavyduty mechanical workshop or earthmoving equipment environment is highly desirable.
  • Diesel mechanic trade background will be an advantage particularly if looking to transition into an administrative/support role.
